Purpose of the Information Technology Committee (ITC):

• Explore and incorporate relevant technologies into health science librarianship in New Jersey. Advise membership on technology standards for projects.
• Share and encourage informatics competencies with HSLANJ members to support continued safe practice of health professionals and improved patient/consumer safety.
• The HSLANJ ITC may sponsor events such as pre- or inter-meeting information technology sessions and web courses to promote the preceding.
• The Chair of this committee, or a designee of the Chair, shall serve on the Education Committee.
